Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide a hot topic in cardiovascular research. Western medicine treats CHD with stent implantation, anti-angina pectoris, anti-platelet aggregation other operations or drugs. According to whole concept characteristics syndrome differentiation, traditional Chinese (TCM) according different syndromes points out that qi deficiency blood stasis are basic pathogenesis CHD. Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction (XFZYD), as classic prescription TCM, has certain value treatment CHD, effects promoting qi, activating circulation, dredging collaterals relieving pain. In addition, it also exhibits advantages high efficiency, low toxicity, cost performance, few side effects, patient acceptance.
