ABSTRACT
Employees' innovative work behavior (IWB) contributes to organizational innovativeness in the form of new processes, products, and services, therefore it is worthwhile examine motivational antecedents employees' IWB. This study analyzes relationship between motivation forms from self-determination theory concept person-organization (PO) fit provide insight into some factors that can influence high-tech R&D Survey data employees three organizations show with higher levels PO have autonomous (identified intrinsic) autonomously motivated engage more frequent Autonomous mediate fit's Furthermore, pay justice (i.e., distributive justice) organization support creativity are significantly associated fit, indicating these may be useful for managers consider relation employee motivation, behavior. Ultimately, interested fostering would prudent seek congruence values motivation.
