ABSTRACT
While the world is transitioning away from conventional fossil fuel energy systems, recent global reports prove that photovoltaic (PV) systems are currently best renewable alternative. This work presents a comprehensive review of industry's current linear or unidirectional economy model and proposes circular (CE) to address sustainability concerns. focuses on reviewing, criticizing, discussing practical implementations 10Rs sustainability, which aim achieve both sustainable development goals (SDGs) targets. multiple models with practically informative conceptually rich structures for PV's CE an environmental-, sustainability-, business-, deployment perspectives. Such provide readers guidelines technical explanations overall goals, pathways/roadmaps, tools towards solar CE. The also highlights verifies important conceptual misunderstandings like differences between recycle principle, dismantling techniques, recover principle. bridges gaps PV literature industry through providing detailed approach achieving successfully PVs'
