A non-latex condom has no influence on male physiological sexual arousal

ABSTRACT
Men do not use external condoms for several reasons, which can result in public health problems. One of these is related to Condom-Associated Erectile Problems. This study aimed examine the sexual arousal response heterosexual men when using an condom made synthetic resin type AT-10. A total 82 Colombian young (Mage = 23.17 years, SD 3.04, age range 18–30) participated this experimental study. Two random groups (experimental and control; n 41 each) were compared. The group used condoms, whereas control did not. Fit feel perceptions, initial erectile scores, age, substance controlled for. Erection was measured while viewing a video by penile plethysmography subjective arousal. results, obtained from comparing (using pre-erection condoms) with (not condoms), revealed no significant difference both physiological suggests that have effect on response. More research needed area provide treatment clinical interventions or reproductive education mitigate occurrence dysfunction, unplanned pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections. Also, addresses issues prevention and/or intervention risk behaviors dysfunctions, highlighting their significance practice.
