The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic utility a novel test kit that could theoretically detect all serogroups Legionella pneumophila for diagnosing pneumonia, in comparison with existing kits.This conducted 16 hospitals Japan from April 2016 December 2018. Three urinary antigen kits were used: (LAC-116), BinaxNOW (Binax), and Q-line Kyokutou (Q-line).
