ABSTRACT
Whilst persistent or recurrent COVID-19 infection is well described among some immunosuppressed patient cohort, to date there have been no reports of this phenomenon in the context repeatedly negative SARS-CoV-2 testing upper respiratory tract. We reported 6 follicular lymphoma developed symptomatic infection. They tested persistently for on pharyngeal swabs and ultimately confirmed by BALF metagenomics next generation sequencing. All patients presented with lymphopenia B-cell depletion, 5 them received anti-CD 20 treatment last year. Persistent fever was most common symptom bilateral ground glass opacities were primary pattern chest computed tomography. A relatively long course unnecessary ineffective antibacterial and/or antifungal treatments administered until definitive diagnosis. subsided rapidly nirmatrelvir/ritonavir treatment. Our case highlighted that should be suspected immunocompromised despite swabs, urgent necessary. Treatment appeared very effective these patients.
