ABSTRACT
The paper proposes a three-scale binary medium-based constitutive model on the basis of meso structures and micro components to describe elasto-plastic mechanical behavior mudstone samples. Based breakage mechanism geomaterials, samples are considered as two different materials (bonded frictional elements) at mesoscales. From scales, given similar but mineralogy composition porosity bonded elements microscale, well their separate characteristics, homogenization methods adopted obtain respective properties. At mesoscale, in view unique continuous material transformation, extended self-consistent scheme (SCS) is improved be adaptable composites with varying components. With consideration evolution form ratio under external loading being based assumed strength distribution elements, relations between macro scales established. Finally, mean-field method combined critical connections micro-meso-macro for proposed. validation shows that, few parameters, proposed can reflect stress deformation features complex micro-components.
