An unusual cause of hematuria; primary epiploic appendagitis

ABSTRACT
Primary epiploic appendagitis (PEA) is self limiting inflammatory disease of colonic appendices. Herein, a 40 years old patient describing abdomino-inguinal pain with clotty hematuria having PEA was presented. At first, the thought to have primary bladder pathology, but after meticioulus examination, he found and managed by conservative measures. Although does not require surgical intervention, it may mimic other acute abdominal disorders which can be difficult differentiate. Appendices overlying sigmoid colon cecum are more prone affected as they elongated wider in size. The usually admitted due sudden onset accompanied fever, tenderness leucocytosis. present case demonstrated that located close lower urinary tract especially might symptoms such hematuria. dysuria, pollakuria inguinal pain.
