ABSTRACT
Adenoid cystic carcinoma rarely involves the nose and paranasal sinuses. It is a slowly growing, aggressive malignant tumor with predisposition for perineural invasion. The study highlights importance of timely diagnosis management adenoid carcinoma.Herein, we report case maxillary antrum in 69 years old female, who presented an insidious onset painful right cheek swelling three months. Biopsy showed glandular pattern cells invasion, suggestive carcinoma. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography sinuses well-differentiated, irregularly outlined, non-enhancing heterogeneous lesion sinus bony destruction, suggesting nature lesion. mass was surgically excised histopathological examination further confirmed diagnosis.Adenoid rare malignancy sinus, although it quite common salivary glands. should be considered differentials patient presenting sinonasal mass, pain, nasal obstruction, epistaxis, auditory symptoms.As can missed clinically owing to its rarity present at advanced stage, early are important.
