ABSTRACT
Ventral gallbladder hernia is a rare condition mostly related to past acquired abdominal wall defects, but spontaneous ones are scarce. It happens more in elderly patients. Etiology and causes still unspecified, the most known of herniation carcinoma, biliary tracked occlusion or weakness patients, respectively.We have presented complicated 90-year-old woman with bulged warm area at right upper abdomen tenderness positive rebound tenderness. In help imaging, we found ventral perforated subcutaneous layer. Then cholecystectomy site repair was performed.We explained this infrequent scenario reviewed recent similar papers find further relevant information. The common presentations, probable causes, role imaging diagnosis management discussed for best surgical planning.The an exceedingly uncommon occurrence. heavily relies on computed tomography (CT) scan utilizing both intravenous oral contrast being optimal modality. Management can be accomplished via laparoscopic laparotomy approaches. our recommendation perform simultaneously expeditiously all cases. We advise against conservative strategies.
