ABSTRACT
Anxiety in university students can lead to poor academic performance and even dropout. The Adult Manifest Scale (AMAS-C) is a validated measure designed assess the level nature of anxiety college students.The aim this study provide internet-based alternatives AMAS-C automated identification prediction young students. Two methods, one based on facial emotion recognition other text recognition, are described using Test Anxiety, Lie Total scales as ground truth data.The first method analyses expressions, identifying six basic emotions (anger, disgust, fear, happiness, sadness, surprise) neutral expression, while complete technical skills test. second examines posts classified positive, negative students' profile social network Facebook. Both approaches predict presence anxiety.Both methods achieved high precision predicting proved be effective disorders relation validation tool. Text analysis-based showed slight advantage terms (86.84 %) compared face (84.21 %).The applications developed help educators, psychologists or relevant institutions identify at an early stage those who likely fail academically due disorder.
