ABSTRACT
RANTES is implicated in allergic asthma and T cell-dependent clearance of infection. receptor family comprises CCR1, CCR3, CCR5, which are G-protein-coupled receptors consisting seven transmembrane helices. Infections with respiratory viruses like Rhinovirus cause induction production by epithelial cells. Here, we studied the role peripheral blood mononuclear cells cohorts children without validated extended this study to airways adults asthma. We further translated these studies a murine model induced house dust mite allergen wild-type CCR5-deficient mice. Here show an unpredicted therapeutic resolution allergen-induced orchestrating transition effector GATA-3+CD4+ into immune-regulatory-type inflammatory eosinophils resident as well increased IL-10 lung.
