ABSTRACT
Alternative pre-mRNA splicing plays critical roles in brain development. SRSF10 is a factor highly expressed central nervous system and important maintaining normal functions. However, its role neural development unclear. In this study, by conditional depleting progenitor cells (NPCs) vivo vitro, we found that dysfunction of leads to developmental defects the brain, which manifest as abnormal ventricle enlargement cortical thinning anatomically, well decreased NPCs proliferation weakened neurogenesis histologically. Furthermore, proved function on involved regulation PI3K-AKT-mTOR-CCND2 pathway alternative Nasp, gene encoding isoforms cell cycle regulators. These findings highlight necessity formation structurally functionally brain.
