ABSTRACT
Patient-derived xenografts (PDX) remain valuable models for understanding the biology and developing novel therapeutics. To expand current PDX of childhood leukemia, we have developed new from Hispanic patients, a subgroup with poorer overall outcome. Of 117 primary leukemia samples obtained, successful engraftment serial passage in mice were achieved 82 (70%). patient engrafted at rate (51/73, 70%) that was similar to non-Hispanic (31/45, 70%). With algorithm remove mouse contamination multi-omics datasets including methylation data, found faithfully reflected somatic mutations, copy-number alterations, RNA expression, gene fusions, whole-genome patterns, immunophenotypes tumor (PT) first 50 reported here. This cohort characterized leukemias represents resource germline DNA sequencing has allowed unambiguous determination mutations both PT PDX.
