ABSTRACT
The current study examined sociosexual attitudes and desires as mediators of the relationship between trait depression sexual risk behaviors (SRB). Iranian Americans (n = 152) were recruited path analyses tested a serial mediation model including direct indirect effects levels on SRB. Trait had significant, effect SRB through scores, with an estimate -.02, SE 0.01, 95% CI [-0.05, -0.04]. Study limitations included use self-report measures lack longitudinal data. Increased associated more unrestricted which, in turn, led to greater behaviors. findings can serve inform health interventions for American adults.
