ABSTRACT
Chittodvega, classified as a Mano-Vikara (psychological disorder) in Ayurveda, can be correlated with general anxiety disorder. The disturbance of Vata Dosha plays critical role its manifestation. Ayurvedic treatments such Abhyanga (oleation) and Shirodhara (dripping medicated oil or other suitable liquid on forehead) are known to pacify Vata. helps stabilize the body, while enhances concentration, promoting mental stability. Both procedures synergistically balance VataDosha, addressing physiological psychological aspects Chittodvega.A 50-year-old male patient presented complaints at Ch. Brahm Prakash Ayurveda Charak Sansthan, New Delhi. He underwent 14-day treatment regimen, including 7 days hospitalization follow-up. involved Abhyanga(Oleation) Til Taila (sesame oil) Dashmool Siddha Ksheer (herbal milk decoction), aimed assessing their impact serum cortisol levels. Both, morning evening level this was within normal range before after treatment. This study done only check effectiveness level. Observable changes were found along reduction patient's symptoms, demonstrating efficacy these interventions managing Chittodvega.
