ABSTRACT
The need for a high degree of flexibility within compound screening is requirement throughout the drug discovery industry. demands made automation technology are becoming increasingly sophisticated as assay formats diversify and confidence in grows. To meet these high-performance flexibility, MSD with RTS Life Science have developed installed dual-robot arm system at our Terlings Park site to support early stage discovery. Plate transport on via two articulated robotic Staubli arms. has operating modes, combined, entire unison; independent each robot acting independently perform different screens parallel. Additional provided by SPRINT software ‘dynamic batch scheduling’ feature. This allows scheduling multiple run automatically extra plates be added new once running without stop reschedule work plan. utility systems exemplified kinase counter mode which four assays against same set compounds one run.
