ABSTRACT
The Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive (ADAS-Cog) has been used widely as a cognitive end point in (AD) clinical trials. Efforts to treat AD pathology at earlier stages have also ADAS-Cog, but failure these trials can be difficult interpret because the scale well-known ceiling effects that limit its use mild impairment (MCI) and early AD. A wealth of data exists ADAS-Cog from both historical contemporary longitudinal natural history studies provide insights about parts may better suited for MCI
