ABSTRACT
In dry machining, the tool-chip interface temperature is a critical factor affecting engineering performance of WC–Co tools. As variation cutting tool in machining similar to that annealing process, effect on mechanical properties materials can be studied by means experiment. this paper, series experiments ultrafine-grained were conducted, and effects holding time materials, including flexural strength, hardness fracture toughness, investigated. The results show under experimental conditions, dominates materials. strength toughness decrease different extent with increasing temperature, whereas does not change obviously. measurements microstructures residual stresses revealed deterioration after attributed relaxation compressive stress.
