ABSTRACT
Utilization of rock dust to produce roof tiles and its effects on properties tiles, mixed with red clay collected from Naogaon district Bangladesh were investigated. After proper characterization the raw materials, prepared different percentages (10-50%) sintered 850-1100 °C temperature. Rock has been found good for using as fluxing material after XRF study. The samples tested such water absorption, porosity, mechanical strength, linear shrinkage, bulk density. strength values have exceeded minimum standard requirement low absorption in most samples. results obtained made it possible conclude about possibility producing incorporating up 40% having better (lower 6.5%, value 31.97 MPa) fired at 900 °C. Therefore these acts a agent reducing sinteringtemperature material.
