Gamification of mobile wallet as an unconventional innovation for promoting Fintech: An fsQCA approach

ABSTRACT
Although digitalisation brings important possibilities to banking & finance service, implementing digital technologies in practices can be challenging. Indeed, the adoption of new innovative technology sector lags behind other business sectors. Many valuable finance-related have not been adopted relation strategic implications decisions domains such as development service innovation and personalization, value co-creation, marketing strategies. In particular, there is a paucity research using gamification explore ways customising fintech offerings, improving customers' experience, developing efficient tactics. Drawing on UTAUT2 Otcalysis framework, this study develops model investigating what configurations motivations, expectations conditions shape consumers' behavioral intention adopt gamified mobile wallet system. Findings suggest that combining effort expectancy, facilitating perceived leads higher use wallet. Accordingly, firms need consider three core when design relevant gamifications.
