ABSTRACT
This paper studies how human capital can affect the relationship between open innovation and financial performance of firms. The results demonstrate that there is an inversed U-shape firm profitability. We also indicate (both quality structure) will differently moderate above relationship: generally, higher education level employees amplify positive effect innovation, but for production-oriented firms, such argument does not hold; in technology-oriented as ratio technical staff to production increases, firms improves a result implementation strategy. However, moderating role negative.
