ABSTRACT
Xiaoqinglong decoction (XQLD), first recorded in Shang Han Lun, is a traditional Chinese medicine prescribed for the treatment of allergic rhinitis (AR). XQLD alleviates clinical symptoms AR by inhibiting occurrence an inflammatory response, but specific regulatory mechanism remains unclear. NLRP3-mediated pyroptosis closely related to pathogenesis. Hence, this study aimed explore potential role pathway AR-associated pharmacological XQLD. BALB/C mice models was established using ovalbumin (OVA) and aluminum hydroxide sensitization. After intragastric administration different dosages XQLD, nasal were observed. The expression OVA-sIgE Th2 factors (IL-4, IL-5, IL-13) serum detected ELISA. histopathological morphology mucosa along with investigated. Molecular docking performed analyze binding representative compounds NLRP3. Activation NLRP3 inflammasome immunofluorescence western blotting. significantly improved mice, reduced degree goblet cell proliferation, mast infiltration, collagen fiber hyperplasia mucosa. Meanwhile, it could downregulate number GSDMD TUNEL double-positive cells IL-1β IL-18 expression. confirmed that seven had good properties able inhibit activation inflammasome. might mediated helping recovery AR, which provides new modern proof treat AR.
