ABSTRACT
There is concern of economic and environmental damage occuring if any the four major aquacultured carp species China, black Mylopharyngodon piceus, bighead Hypophthalmichthys nobilis, silver H. molitrix, or grass Ctenopharyngodon idella, were to establish in Laurentian Great Lakes. All are reproducing Mississippi River Basin. We review status these fishes relation Lakes their proximity pathways into Lakes, based on captures collections eggs larvae.
