ABSTRACT
Venezuelan migrant and refugee women girls (VMRWG) face risks of exposure to infection from HIV threats multiple forms violence (including GBV) during after migration. Yet, there is a lack evidence on barriers facilitators VMRWGs' access prevention care services in this population at all stages their We addressed gap by conducting qualitative study composed fifty-four semi-structured interviews with practitioners (n=24) VMRWG (n=30) the two largest receiving cities migrants Colombia. sought identify perceived inform policies programmatic efforts. Analysis followed theory-informed approach using Socioecological Model. Findings describe multi-level related discrimination, gender-based violence, rigid gender norms, information system fragmentation. Policies that integrate community-based networks support intersectoral work are pivotal breach gaps between communities develop gender-sensitive tackles relationship risk.
