ABSTRACT
The paper discusses the attempt made to improve upon transition temperatures and amount of martensite formation in Cu–Al alloys with alloying additions Mn, Ni Zn varying proportions combinations. have been subjected heat treatment cycles microstructure precipitate required phase. effect these ternary and/or quaternary has studied on phases precipitated through micro-structural analysis X-ray diffraction Differential Scanning Calorimetric studies. findings confirm possibility improvement shape memory properties like formation, higher transitions longer retention selected based exhibited proper treatments.
