ABSTRACT
The microwave dielectric properties and sintering behavior of Li2(Mg1-xNix)SiO4 (x = 0.00–0.10) ceramics were researched with the help first principle calculation solid-state reaction experiment. crystal structure, electron density, formation energy obtained through density functional theory. X-ray diffraction, scanning microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy, Network Analyzer used in this study. substitution Ni2+-ion to Mg2+-ion could lower densification temperature from 1250 °C 1150 improve composite ceramics, demonstrated by result lattice parameters, bond population, microstructure. A peak property 0.00-0.10) was achieved when x 0.04 (εr 5.69, Q×f 28,448 GHz at 16 GHz, τf −15.3 ppm/ °C) sintered °C. Besides, LBBS glass as aid 1150℃ down 900℃. Li2(Mg0.96Ni0.04)SiO4 ceramic 2 wt% 900 excellent properties, εr 5.89, 29,320 (at GHz), −13.8 ppm/°C, there no chemical between Ag. It's a promising material for applications millimeter-wave devices field low co-fired ceramics.
