ABSTRACT
Silk has poor antibacterial and UV protection properties which limit its application fields. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have attracted great attention due to their excellent activity. This work proposed a green efficient way prepare AgNPs from silver nitrate using the aqueous extract tea stem waste, functional finishing of silk material with resulting by an immersion technique. prepared at pH 9 40 ℃ exhibited ultra-fine particle size (<20 nm), good dispersibility storage stability. When was treated 3 80 for min, it displayed high content color depth. The ability fabric crepe de chine (52 g/m2) increased as increased. At 3.64 mg/g, rate against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus 99%, above 92% even after 20 cycles washing under neutral condition. same content, factor reached 21.3, being classified “good protection”. present study not only presents novel approach functionalization biosynthesized AgNPs, but also implements reuse waste.
