ABSTRACT
In this paper, the tensile properties and stress corrosion resistance of two Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys were tested by test slow rate test. The microstructures precipitation observed transmission electron microscopy, proportion size precipitates measured ImageJ software. This work revealed that Sc Zr microalloying will instead reduce SCC increase strength reduction alloys, under certain heat treatment. area fraction GBP can be effectively adjusted combine changing quenching agents, step-aging minor additive Zr. With at grain boundary, susceptibility decreased first then increased. is because when exceeds 22.3%, low cracking mechanism change from hydrogen embrittlement to anodic dissolution mechanism. combination treatment Sc, enable reach approximately 22.3 %, which make have high susceptibility.
