ABSTRACT
Severe spattering is one of the common problems during fiber laser keyhole welding. In this study, correlation between spatter formation and laser-induced evaporation vapor on front wall (FKW) was studied by changing welding speed The spatters were mainly generated in behind mouth, diameters 50~100 μm at low speed, while particles 100~150 high speed. As increased, tilt angle FKW decreased gradually, main generation position shifted from mouth to mouth. velocity higher than that Further analysis shows that, recoil pressure squeezed molten metal layer generate decrease led mouth; however, more liable impact rear
