ABSTRACT
Studying the specific energy during material removal mechanism at micro-scale provides a better understanding of transition between different regimes. Modeling into components sliding, plowing and cutting helps to analyze influence grain properties process parameters, mechanical on phases removal. Present research put forth comprehensive model consumption for abrasive cut off operating based individual models primary secondary rubbing energies, energy. Materials SS201, Inconel 718, Al 1100, 7075 oxygen free copper (OFC– C10100) have been employed while with semi super cubitron wheel. Model validation experimental data revealed that triangular shape grits significantly influenced played an important role in Moreover, conditions also affected overall consumption, dominance particular machinability materials.
