ABSTRACT
Cold mixed epoxy asphalt mixture (CMEAM) has excellent anti-deformation and fatigue performance which shows remarkable superiority on bridge pavements. Previous studies have done comprehensive researches its properties through macroscopic experiments. However, few revealed the impact of gradation design road property CMEAM microscopic method. Thus, in this paper, X-Ray computed tomography (X-ray CT), nanoindentation (NI), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) are introduced to investigate coarse aggregates contact degree, thickness elastic modulus interfacial transition zone (ITZ) pore diameter distribution CMEAM. Results showed that points EA-05 around 40 while those EA-10 20. (40°, 50°) is key inclination angle interval for type (70°, 80°) (10°, 20°) significance type. The angles positively inversely proportional Marshall stability, respectively. In addition, ITZ below 10 μm above 40μm, approximately 1.5 times than EA-05. low-temperature indirect tensile strain (εT). Meanwhile, higher proportion gel micropores middle capillary pores mesopores large pores. Mesopores highest correlation coefficients with strength ratio (TSR), followed by suggested two 21.5% 51.0%,
