ABSTRACT
The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has affected hundreds of thousands people across more than 200 countries. As the pandemic continues, health agencies, worldwide, are recommending strict preventive practices to avert its transmission at community scale. We sought predict behavior Saudi population for adopting during COVID-19 pandemic.An online questionnaire consisting 22 items pertaining Health Belief Model constructs was used measure perceived susceptibility and severity contracting COVID-19, along with benefits barriers follow Ministry Health's recommendations. outcome assessed by their readiness be compliant protective measures. Data were analyzed using STATA significance level 0.05.A total 900 individuals received survey link, which 688 (response rate: 76.4%) respondents consented participate in study. mean age 31.39 (SD = 8.94). Positive associations observed between (Beta: 0.24; p value < 0.001), 0.16; 0.41; cue action 2.61; 0.001) participation COVID-19.Health belief model's susceptibility, severity, can adopted help strengthen limiting behaviors prevention programs delivered through pharmacies Arabia as well around world.
