ABSTRACT
This study comprehensively describes travel behavior to various destinations among adolescents from Germany aged 11–15 years and how this varies according residential location type adolescents' socio-demographics. Overall, more than a half of use active transport modes reach school non-school destinations. Prevalence passive was higher in girls compared boys, on the way destinations, for longer distances. Adult accompaniment occurred predominantly boys associated with travel. In future, promotion programs should especially consider girls' needs prevent low levels Additionally, improvements public infrastructure are recommended enable shift healthy sustainable adolescents.
