ABSTRACT
This study applies a large proteomics panel to search for new circulating biomarkers associated with progression kidney failure in individuals diabetic disease. Four independent cohorts encompassing 754 type 1 and 2 diabetes early late disease were followed ascertain failure. During ten years of follow-up, 227 progressed Using the SOMAscan platform, we measured baseline concentration 1129 proteins. In our previous publications, analyzed 334 these proteins that members specific candidate pathways involved found 35 strongly risk Here, examined remaining 795 using an untargeted approach. Of proteins, 11 significantly Biological processes previously reported related neuron development (DLL1, MATN2, NRX1B, KLK8, RTN4R ROR1) implicated fibrosis (LAYN, DLL1, MAPK11, endostatin, cellular animal studies.
