ABSTRACT
The traditional yak yogurt from Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture harbors a rich microbial community, which strain of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (Lp. EL2) was isolated. Through whole genome sequencing and probiotic activity assays, the genomic characteristics this its genes related to properties were analyzed. results demonstrate that EL2 exhibits excellent antibacterial effects against Staphylococcus aureus Salmonella, as well favorable antioxidative properties, acid bile salt tolerance, strong adhesive ability. is 3.48Mb in size, with total length 3,318,230 bp GC content 44.48%. It contains 3155 open reading frames, spanning 2,773,647 bp, 45.58%. Bagel analysis reveals bacteriocin gene cluster size 20.3 kb EL2, consisting 22 encoding bacteriocins, identification pathways associated gastrointestinal resistance properties. This beneficial for health individuals, research findings hold significant importance not only preservation inheritance strains region, but also production application strains.
