ABSTRACT
Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), as low-cost photovoltaic devices compared to conventional silicon cells, have received widespread attention in recent years; although much work is required reach optimal device efficiencies. This review highlights developments DSSCs and their key components, including the photoanode, sensitizer, electrolyte counter electrode.
