ABSTRACT
Although the organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) encompassing TVs, smartphones, and wearable devices, etc. already have been commercialized, there is still room to pursue material improvements in efficiency cost-effectiveness. Organic materials experienced development of three generation system, it timely summary recent advances remaining challenges as well their corresponding devices. Special attention mainly concentrated on describing blue structures related electroluminescence (EL) device performances (the maximum EQE data, Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage (CIE) coordinates, roll-off). This short review will show current governing hotspots concerning OLEDs academic fields, which may pave way for next step industrial application.
