ABSTRACT
Acrosome has a vital role in the process of penetration zona pellucida (ZP). It is highly susceptible to elevated reactive oxygen species (ROS) and oxidative stress (OS). As generally accepted that OS deteriorating effects on sperm functions, we studied effect parameters acrosomal structure infertile patients with normal semen parameters. 30 20 fertile controls were included this study. Semen analysis was performed according WHO Oxidative evaluated by measurement Malondialdehyde (MDA). Acrosomal anomalies detected transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Statistically no significant difference found between regarding (p value >0.05). MDA values statistically than <0.001). positively correlated values. Pearson correlation 0.645 for redundant or detached acrosome 0.707 inclusions Percentages higher subjects. The positive means association which may indicate negative structure.
