ABSTRACT
Abstract Ensuring higher quality for food items is garnering greater interest amongst food industry professionals as highlighted. The food industry is keenly investing more time, talent and treasure towards maintaining the freshness of food materials. Also, the concept of food security is gaining importance due to the continuous population growth. Further on, the people health is also directly related to the food availability and quality. The need for food security arises due to floods, droughts and other extreme weather disorders such as heat waves. There are several factors for severely destroying the yield of agriculture. The evergreen and more sustainable agricultural practices are brought in to avoid the depletion and degradation of natural resources. The realization of food security for all purposes faces a number of inter-related challenges. This research paper presents a hybrid model named “Efficient Food Quality Analysis Model (EFQAM)” using the IoT devices and biosensors to precisely identify the factors which damage the quality of the food. The model we proposed here is based on the biosensors and its ultimate aim is to maintain food quality. The detected result of the biosensors was further aggregated, processed and analyzed by the statistical measure which is useful in tracing and retracing the safety of food efficiently and more reliably.
