ABSTRACT
The polyphenolic composition of Algerian date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L) leaves (in Hamray, Safray, Ghars, Horra, Deglet Nour (DN) cultivars), and pollen DN were investigated for the first time in these cultivars. fractions extracted using three solvents (acetone, methanol ethanol), characterized terms antioxidant activity contents total polyphenols (TPC), flavonoids (TFC), tannins (TCTC). All extracts exhibited high TPC, TFC TCTC values, being cultivar that provided best results without significant differences among solvents. When analyzed by HPLC-MS, 21 23 phenols identified leaf extracts, respectively. Furthermore, fingerprints obtained comprehensive two-dimensional liquid chromatography (LC × LC), which made it possible to discriminate samples according their linear discriminant analysis.
