ABSTRACT
The association between increased neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and multiple sclerosis has been demonstrated in several studies. monocyte-to-lymphocyte (MLR) is an emerging biomarker for disease monitoring. Moreover, there not a published Taiwanese study to date.To investigate the correlation of NLR, MLR white blood cell (WBC) count as possible biomarkers predicting 2-year relapse patients with (MS).A total 641 MS were enrolled present January 1, 2001, December 31, 2018. We collected data on MLR, WBC count, disease-modifying therapy (DMT) use, time first diagnosis all within duration. In group, significantly more NLR >median or (p = 0.006 p 0.020, respectively). There also >median, although difference was statically significant 0.069). adjusted hazard 1.61(p 0.008). 1.43 0.044). Patients had 0.008 0.039, respectively) risk 2 years, compared those who <median <median.NLR are widely available, fast measurable inflammatory markers patients.
