ABSTRACT
Abstract The PMN/PT relaxing ferroelectric solid solution has been derived from a traditional ceramic sintering technique. The measurement device for the EC effect of the working material is designed. The results show that PMN/PT85 material possesses the optimal EC effect and the longer time of keeping temperature. PMN/PT85 ceramic with the thickness of 100 μm takes on the EC maximum, which is about 1.71 K at 18 °C and 16 kV/cm depolarization process. The micromation PMN/PT ceramic is hopeful to be the chief candidate working materials for the ferroelectrics MEMS microcooler (FMM) applied near the ambient temperature.
