ABSTRACT
Transverse crack is a common occurrence present in over simply supported shaft. The development of shaft leads to catastrophic failure, which will affect the dynamic behavior such local stiffness and stress intensity factor given change lead eigenfrequency with their mode shapes at different location depth. In study methodology applied for detecting multi its size due transverse same angular position along longitudinal direction slenderness ratioThe subjected both axial bending load. presence two cracks are observed by taking basic parameters as non-dimensional depth (bi/D), length (Li/L) three relative natural frequencies shapes. compliance matrix calculated from degrees freedom. function crack. obtained analytical. In Present Research, method validating results using Genetic algorithm. At beginning, theoretical analyses have been outlined determining feed trend up GA. proposed approach has verified comparing
