ABSTRACT
Marine radioactivity monitoring is critical for taking immediate action in case of unexpected nuclear accidents at facilities located near coastal areas. Especially when the level contamination not predictable, mobile systems will be useful wide-area ocean radiation survey and determination radioactivity. Here, we used a silicon photomultiplier high-efficiency GAGG crystal to fabricate compact, battery-powered gamma spectroscopy that can an environment. The developed has compact dimensions 6.5 × 6.5× 8 cm3 weighs 560 g. We LoRa, low-power wireless protocol communication. Successful data transmission was achieved within 1.4 m water depth. able detect from 137Cs point source (3.7 kBq) distance 20 cm water. Moreover, demonstrated unmanned system real sea by combining surface vehicle with spectroscopy. A hidden (3.07 MBq) detected 3 m. After successfully testing environment, believe our proposed effective solution real-time marine monitoring.
