ABSTRACT
Heat pipe cooled reactors have gained attention as a potential solution for nuclear power generation in space and deep sea applications because of their simple design, scalability, safety reliability. However, under complex operating conditions, control strategy variable load operation is necessary. This paper presents two-dimensional transient characteristics analysis program heat reactor proposes using the recuperator bypass (CSURB). The was verified against previous studies, steady-state step-load conditions were calculated. For normal condition, predicted temperature distribution with constant boundary agrees well literature, maximum difference 0.4 K. With implementation (CSURB) proposed this paper, it becomes feasible to achieve return system steady state solely through self-regulation reactor, without need operate drum. average fuel does not exceed 1 % at four levels 70 %,80 %, 90 100 Full power. output turbine can match change process, between inlet outlet increases decreases.
