ABSTRACT
The steadily increasing luminosity of the LHC requires an upgrade with high-rate and high-resolution detector technology for inner end cap ATLAS muon spectrometer: New Small Wheels (NSW). In order to achieve goal precision tracking at a hit rate about 15 kHz/cm$^2$ radius NSW, large area Micromegas quadruplets 100\,\microns spatial resolution per plane have been produced. % IRFU, from CEA research center Saclay, is responsible production validation LM1 modules. construction, production, qualification largest detectors ever built are reported here. Performance results under cosmic characterisation will also be discussed.
