ABSTRACT
A key parameter in the analysis of compounds and study their physical, chemical, mechanical properties is knowledge crystal size. There are two common techniques for determining this size: transmission electron microscopy (TEM) Brunauer-Emmett-Teller theory (BET). These methods time-consuming expensive; thus, calculation size by X-ray diffraction (XRD) proposed. several calculating diffraction, but not all peaks were considered errors very large. In study, Modified Scherrer method practically explained, three important rules obtaining values with high accuracy introduced applied. For better understanding, explains iron oxide (Fe2O3), titanium (TiO2) vanadium (V2O5) powders as examples. Crystal calculated using modified Fe2O3, TiO2, V2O5 30.94, 16.57, 24.30 nm, respectively. Furthermore, extracted ∼ 31, 18 30 nm tandemly recorded TEM. Moreover, to 32.96, 15.87 16.66 BET tandemly. The results show that has agreement analyses TEM BET. Thus, proposed each crystalline compound it XRD available cheaper.
