ABSTRACT
The adhesion of parts to the build surface plays a central role in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) process. Without sufficient adhesion, part will deform (so called warping) due thermal shrinkage, so that no defined geometries can be created. Nevertheless, there is established method measure printed and therefore it not possible targeted improve it. This article presents measurement based on DIN EN 28510-1 standard corresponding test device which makes identify optimum for filament also process parameters manner. combines FFF printer with measuring unit all common filaments tested close up processing temperature 400 °C nozzle around 150 platform. uses only open-source software costs about 1700€.
