ABSTRACT
In this paper, the direct generation of vortex beams in a diode-pumped Yb:CALGO laser has been realized for first time. The wavelength output beam was broadly tunable from 1040 to 1086 nm by using birefringent filter as wavelength-selecting element. could be maintained quite well at different wavelengths and pump powers. maximum power experiment 860mW 1060.4 nm. orbital angular momentums with topological charges l = 1 −1 were verified interferograms. Such wavelength-tunable can potentially applied high-capacity multi-channel optical communications.
